The Jewish Community Alliance in Jacksonville, Florida also known as "JCA", has an abundance of classes and sports activities for all ages. Approximately, every 6 weeks kids of all ages and backgrounds can take class sessions every day of the week and can update their schedules for the next session and try something new throughout the academic school year.

This past winter session we enrolled in Sunday football, Monday basketball, Tuesday tennis, Wednesday free-play racquetball and on Thursday a puzzle coding critical thinking course. Also, what is very nice about the JCA is that they offer all the sports equipment on site, and it is readily available to use while enjoying the facility.
Additionally, there are private, semi-private, and group swimming classes offered regularly, but if you are looking to learn to swim sign up for private or semi-private class options.

Furthermore, there is a kid's playroom for the younger children where parents can bring their kids to play with toys and do artwork or their homework, while the parents enjoy the facility and adult classes offered such as yoga, swimming, exercise and gym work outs.
There are also many more programs offered including after-school, JCA-cation days for when schools are closed, theatre and martial arts programs. There is also a summer camp offered weekly, semi- weekly and monthly options open to members and non-members.
Overall, the JCA feels like a year-round summer camp experience geared for all ages with amazing classes and wonderfully skilled and knowledgeable coach instructors. The building is also undergoing a renovation project, and the community is looking forward to the expansion. With G-d's blessing, may the JCA continue to shine bright and be a beacon of light in Jacksonville, Florida.
