Recap: Siblings in Captivity Event

At our Chabad Siblings in Captivity event, we heard firsthand from two siblings who were taken hostage on October 7th while at the Nova Festival. They described being separated, injured, and held in extremely difficult conditions. Everyone was taking in their story quietly, really hearing what they had lived through. People were processing, understanding the weight of their experience in a new way.

What stood out most was how clearly they felt that Hashem was watching over them, and how strongly they sensed the Jewish people praying for them throughout their time in Gaza. Even in the tunnels, they felt that connection. Their calm, steady way of sharing this made it even more powerful. It was a reminder of how deeply we are all tied to one another, and the evening left a strong impression on everyone who came.
